With this pack of Fender 8250-5M Super 8250’s Nickel Plated Steel strings, the sound of any five-string bass is given a fresh and defined boost. To enhance stability, intonation, playing comfort and even the sustain, the B and E strings have been tapered, so the winding stops at the point where the string meets the bridge, meaning that only the core makes contact with the saddle. These strings are compatible with all long-scale five-string basses and deliver the kind of pointed and articulate tone demanded by everything from funk to rock.
